This part of YS/T 820 specifies methods for the determination of calcium, cobalt, copper, mg, manganese, nickel, phosphorus and zinc in laterite nickel ores. It is suitable for the simultaneous determination of the content of these elements in laterite nickel ores. After the sample is analyzed by muriatic acid, nitric acid, hydrofluoric acid and perchloric acid, the salts are dissolved with muriatic acid, and the contents of these elements are simultaneously determined by Inductance Coupled Plasma Atomic EmissionSpectrometer in a dilute muriatic acid medium. Only reagents confirmed as superior purity and distillation or deionized water or water of equivalent purity are used in the analysis.
