This part stipulates the determination of SiO2, Fe2O3, CaO, MgO, TiO2 and P2O5 contents by Inductance Coupled Plasma Atomic Emission Spectroscopy (AES) method (ICP-AES). It is suitable for the determination of these elements in mullite. The determination range of each element is shown in Table 1. The normative reference documents include GB/T 2007.2, GB/T 6682, GB/T 8170, GB/T 12806, GB/T 12807, GB/T 12808, GB/T 23942, etc. The principle of the method involves the melting, leaching, measurement and calculation of the sample. The reagent should be analytically pure and meet the relevant water quality requirements. Users are warned to have laboratory work experience, to take safety and health measures, and to comply with relevant regulations.
