This standard specifies the method for the determination of aluminum ion content in coal mine water by aluminum reagent Colorimetry. It is suitable for the determination of aluminum ion in the range of 0.05~ 1.00 mg/L. In a solution with pH 6.3, aluminum reagent and aluminum ion form a red complex. Color depth is proportional to aluminum ion content. Content is determined by visual Colorimetry.
