This standard specifies the method of freezing tests of rain and snow under the irradiation of artificial Light sources, including terms and definitions, test equipment, test methods and test reports. Applicable to evaluate the performance and changes of building materials and components used in areas with freezing rain in winter. Guidelines for the preparation of environmental test methods and related standards for environmental testing of electrical and electronic products are cited. Terms and definitions include irradiance, amount of irradiation, spectral power distribution, black panel thermometer and self-heating. Test equipment includes test chambers.
