This standard covers all aspects of fully oil-free lubricated reciprocating piston air compressors, including specified operating conditions, model and basic parameters, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, Encasement and storage. It applies to air compressors driven by electric motors with rated exhaust pressure not exceeding 1.4 MPa and Rated power not exceeding 22 kW, and also applies to air compressors without electric motors from the factory. However, it does not apply to direct-connected portable air compressors, while internal combustion engine-driven and special-purpose air compressors can be implemented with reference to this standard.
