This standard applies to the assessment of the color durability of various types of Spinning & weaving products to artificial light (instead of natural sunlight). The principle is to evaluate the color fastness to light by exposing the Spinning & weaving product sample to the blue wool standard and comparing the discoloration degree of the two. The required equipment and materials include a carbon arc lamp tester, a cover, a gray sample card for evaluating discoloration, a blue wool standard, a black panel thermometer, and a sample. The sample can be fabric, yarn, or loose fibers, and needs to be fixed to a hard card and identical to the blue wool standard.
