This standard specifies the test method for determining the bond fastness of nonwovens, which are applicable to nonwovens without coatings or composite layers. The test principle is to apply a layer of tape to the front and back sides of the nonwoven fabric. Under specified conditions, the nonwoven fabric is separated from the tape by using an isokinetic tensile test instrument to evaluate the bond fastness grade. The required equipment includes tape, pressure roller and isokinetic tensile test instrument.
