This standard specifies a method for determining the folding resistance of leather and leather coatings, applicable to all types of leather with a thickness of less than 3.0mm. During the test, the specimen is clamped in a jig, and the upper jig is driven by a motor to reciprocate and evaluate the change of the specimen after a specified number of times. The required equipment includes a folding tester, upper and lower jigs, counters, die knives, magnifying glasses and dryers.
