"SN/T 2951-2011 Method for chemical composition analysis of platings of galvanized and aluminized steel plates" stipulates a method for determining the chemical composition of galvanized and aluminized steel platings by Inductance Coupled Plasma Atomic Emission Spectroscopy (AES) method. This standard is applicable to the determination of chemical composition of samples with flat surfaces, and the specific measurement range is detailed in Table 1. The method includes immersing the sample in the de-plating solution to dissolve the galvanized layer, and using the plasma flame to convert the de-plating solution of the sample into a Light source. The light intensity of the corresponding element is measured by the plasma Light spectrum instrument, and its content is determined according to the standard Linear dispersion. Finally, the chemical composition content of platings is calculated as the percentage of chemical element content to the mass loss of the sample. This standard refers to GB/T6682 analytical laboratory water specifications and test methods and JJG015 Inductance coupled plasma Atomic EmissionSpectrometer verification procedures to ensure the accuracy and Reliability of analytical results.
