GB/T 43722.1-2024 "Leather, Determination of antibacterial performance, Part 1: Membrane contact method" stipulates the quantitative test method for determining the antibacterial performance of non-absorbent leather by membrane contact method. This standard is applicable to evaluate the antibacterial ability of leather to bacteria and fungi. After inoculating quantitative microorganisms to the surface of the sample, the film method is used to ensure that the microorganisms are in uniform contact with the surface of the leather. After a certain period of time foster, the number of live bacteria on the surface of the sample is determined, and the antibacterial rate is calculated to evaluate its antibacterial performance.
