GB/T 43753.3-2024 "Methods for chemical analysis of precious metal alloys Eletroplating wastewater, Part 3: Determination of sulfate content barium sulfate weight method" specifies the use of barium sulfate weight method for the determination of sulfate content in precious metal alloys Eletroplating and electroforming wastewater. This standard applies to the determination of sulfate content in the mass concentration range of 0.01 g/L to 18.00 g/L. During the determination, the sample is reduced to gold by muriatic acid hydroxylamine and other elements to generate barium sulfate precipitation of sulfate and barium chloride. The precipitation is separated, filtrated, washed, and burned to a constant amount. Finally, the sulfate content is expressed by the content of sulfate, and the mass concentration of sulfate is calculated. This document refers to the provisions of GB/T 6682 on the specifications and test methods for analytical laboratory water.
