GB/T 43753.4-2024 "Methods for chemical analysis of precious metal alloys Eletroplating wastewater, Part 4: Determination of chloride ion content, silver chloride Nephilometry" specifies a method for the determination of chloride ion content in precious metal alloys Eletroplating and electroforming wastewater using silver chloride Nephilometry. This standard applies to the determination of chloride ion content at mass concentrations in the range of 1.0 g/L to 50.0 g/L. During the determination, a solution of chloride ions reacts with silver nitrate (AgNO3) in an ethanol medium to form a silver chloride emulsion. Absorbance at a wavelength of 420 nm is measured using a spectrophotometer to calculate the mass concentration of chloride ions. This document refers to the provisions of GB/T 6682 on specifications and test methods for analytical laboratory water.
