Standard JJG 891-2019 specifies requirements for initial verification, subsequent verification and in-use inspection of capacitive and resistive grain Moisture Analyzers. The standard applies to capacitive and resistive moisture analyzers used for grain moisture analysis after sampling. Moisture analyzers are designed and manufactured according to the dielectric properties of grains or the relationship between resistivity and Moisture content. Capacitive moisture meters consist of Sensors, secondary meters and blanking sheets, while resistive moisture meters consist of Sensors and secondary meters. The standard specifies in detail the error of indication and Repeatability Measurement performance requirements of moisture analyzers to ensure the accuracy and Reliability of measurement results.
