The GB/T 44238-2024 standard specifies the determination method of helium, argon, nitrogen and hydrocarbon components in hydrogen for proton exchange membrane fuel cell vehicles. The standard uses Gas chromatography, CG, combined with Thermal conductivity detector, TCD (TCD) and Flame ionization detector, FFID (FID) to accurately analyze the target components in hydrogen. The standard describes in detail the selection of reagents and materials, instrumentation, testing procedures and data processing methods, and specifies the requirements of gas reference materials and the accuracy standards of sample analysis. Special attention is paid to the fact that hydrogen is a flammable and explosive gas, and the relevant safety procedures should be strictly followed when using this standard. This document applies to the detection of hydrogen for proton exchange membrane fuel cell vehicles, and may also refer to hydrogen analysis for Miscellaneous applications.
