The national standard "GB/T 44303-2024 Quantitative Evaluation of Scratch Damage and Scratch Visibility of Plastics" provides two methods (Constant Load and Linear Growth Load) to quantitatively evaluate scratch damage and scratch visibility of plastic materials. The standard uses the coordinate values of the 3D Color model for evaluation and specifies the size of the specimen and the geometry of the scraper head. Applicable to coated and uncoated thermal plasticity and thermosetting molding materials, providing scientific, quantitative test methods for scratch performance of plastic materials. The standard will be implemented on March 1, 2025 and will help to improve the mass and application performance evaluation of plastic products.
