ASTM D6611-23 standard test method is used to evaluate the abrasion resistance of dry and wet yarns, especially the abrasion performance between yarns. This method tests the durability of yarns in drying and wet environments by simulating the friction abrasion of yarns in dry and wet states during use. During the test, the yarns rub against each other to simulate the abrasion effect under actual wearing or use conditions, and the wear resistance performance of the yarns is measured. This method is widely used in Spinning & Weaving products, carpets, clothing and other fields to help improve the quality control of yarns and provide technical support for product design.
