ASTM C418-12 is a standard test method used to determine the abrasion resistance of sand blasting concrete. This method uses sand blasting technology to simulate the abrasion that the concrete surface may encounter in actual use by spraying sand on the concrete surface. During the test, the concrete surface is fixed to a bracket and then abrasion is performed through a sand blasting gun. The speed and pressure of the sand blasting gun can be adjusted to simulate the strain of the concrete surface in actual use. This standard method is suitable for all types of sand blasting concrete surfaces, including but not limited to roads, airports, parking lots, etc.
