The ASTM D 2228-04 (2019) standard uses the Pico abrasive method to test the abrasion resistance of rubber, which is simple, fast and reliable. The Pico abrasive method is a commonly used rubber abrasion resistance testing method. It simulates the abrasion of rubber during use by using Pico abrasive under specific conditions. Through testing, the absolute abrasion resistance and relative abrasion resistance values of the rubber can be obtained to evaluate the abrasion resistance performance of the rubber.
