"GB/T 18912-2024 Photovoltaic module salt fog corrosion test" stipulates the test procedure for evaluating the anti-salt fog corrosion ability of photovoltaic modules, which is applicable to crystalline silicon photovoltaic modules and thin film photovoltaic modules, but not to concentrated photovoltaic modules. The standard modification adopts IEC 61701:2020, which adds specimen requirements, test general rules, judgment requirements and test reports, and improves the test method and salt spray test sequence diagram. The standard was released on November 28, 2024 and will be officially implemented on March 1, 2025.
