"GB/T 3260.1-2024 Methods for chemical analysis of tin, Part 1: Determination of copper, lead, zinc, cadmium, silver, nickel and cobalt content, flame atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS) method" stipulates the method for the determination of copper, lead, zinc, cadmium, silver, nickel and cobalt content in tin by flame atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS) method. The standard is suitable for quantitative analysis of various impurity elements in tin and tin alloys. It has the characteristics of high Sensitivity, good selectivity and easy operation. Compared with the 2013 version, the standard revised the measurement range, increased the determination content of silver, nickel and cobalt, and optimized the method of dissolving the sample. The standard is centralized by the National Nonferrous Metals Standardization Technical Committee and will be officially implemented on June 1, 2025, providing an important basis for the quality control and trade of tin products.
