"GB/T 45020-2024 Methods for chemical analysis of niobium-hafnium alloys, Determination of trace impurity elements Inductance coupled plasma mass spectrometry" specifies a method for the determination of trace impurity elements in niobium-hafnium alloys by Inductance coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS). The standard applies to the quantitative analysis of trace impurity elements such as lithium, beryllium, boron, mg, aluminum, etc. in niobium-hafnium alloys, and the determination range covers the content level as low as 0.0005%. The method has high Sensitivity and high selectivity, and can provide a reliable basis for the purity control and mass evaluation of niobium-hafnium alloys The standard is managed by the National Nonferrous Metals Standardization Technical Committee and released on November 28, 2024. It will be officially implemented on June 1, 2025.
