This standard document specifies a method for the measurement of 210 Polonium in all types of water by the α Light spectrum method. This method is suitable for supply/drinking water, rainwater, surface and groundwater, seawater, and test samples of chilled down water, industrial water, domestic and industrial wastewater, provided that the sample is properly sampled, treated and tested. Test samples may need to be filtrated.
