GB/T 8949-2008 "Polyurethane Dry Artificial Leather" standard was released in 2008, mainly stipulates the product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, Encasement, transportation and storage of polyurethane dry artificial leather. The standard is applicable to artificial leather manufactured by dry polyurethane coating process with knitted fabric base and woven fabric base as the base. Products are divided into different categories according to Film thickness, surface state is divided into smooth and suede, and can be divided into various types according to the use. The standard specifies the physical and Mechanical Property requirements of the product in detail, including Film thickness, tensile strength, elongation, grain strength, folding fastness and other indicators. In addition, the standard also specifies performance requirements such as colour fastness, water absorption, hydrostatic resistance, etc., and provides corresponding test methods and inspection rules.
