DS/EN 16074 is a standard for the determination of the content and spread rate of non-volatile substances in Paints and varnishes coil coatings. This standard specifies a method for the determination of the content of non-volatile substances in coil coatings by weight method, expressed as a percentage of mass, and from this data the theoretical spread rate is calculated. This method is suitable for most heat-curing coil coatings, but not for pure epoxy coil coatings.
