JG/T 5011.13-1992 "General Technical Conditions for Derusting of Construction Machinery and Equipment" is a construction industry standard that specifies the general technical requirements for surface derusting of construction machinery and equipment. The content covers the requirements for surface pretreatment before derusting, the selection and operation of derusting methods (such as mechanical derusting, manual derusting, jet derusting, etc.), derusting mass grades (such as Sa2.5, St2, etc.) and detection methods (such as visual method, Roughness Gauge measurement). The standard applies to all kinds of construction machinery and equipment before painting substrate treatment, through the specification of derusting process to ensure that the steel surface cleanliness and asperity meet the painting requirements, improve coating adhesion and protection performance, for the construction machinery surface preparation engineering design, construction and mass acceptance to provide technical basis, to ensure the durability and reliability of equipment after painting.
