The ISO 1924-2:2008 standard specifies a method for measuring the tensile performance of paper and Cardboard using a testing machine with constant elongation (20 mm/min). The standard applies to all paper and Cardboard, including high breaking strength paper, but not to corrugated fibreboard itself. The test content includes tensile strength, fracture strain, tensile energy absorption, etc., and can also calculate tensile index, resilience modulus and other indicators.
