The ISO 21896:2020 standard specifies the test method for decolorization of dyestuff-dyed paper products and paper products printed with dyestuff ink. The standard is applicable to evaluating the decolorization performance of paper and Cardboard after dyeing or printing. Test methods of immersion and friction are used to quantify the degree of decolorization. It provides a unified basis for evaluating the decolorization performance of the paper, pulp and recycling industries, helps to ensure product mass and environmental protection requirements, and provides technical support for the international trade of related products.
