The ISO 10775 standard specifies a method for the determination of cadmium in paper, Cardboard and pulp using atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS). This method is suitable for all types of paper, Cardboard and pulp, including paper products containing recycled fibers. During testing, samples are wet digested to extract cadmium from them. The standard helps to assess the mass and safety of paper products and is widely used in quality control and Product Research & Development in the paper industry.
