GB/T 17643-2025 "Geosynthetic polyethylene (PE) geomembrane" is an important material standard in the field of civil engineering in our country. The standard is issued by the State Administration for Market Regulation and is under the jurisdiction of the National Geosynthetic Standardization Technical Committee. It will be officially implemented on November 1, 2025, replacing the 2011 version of the standard. The standard system stipulates the raw material requirements of high-density polyethylene (PE) (HDPE), linear low-density polyethylene (PE) (LLDPE) and other geomembrane, physical and mechanical properties (such as tensile strength, Tear strength), environment stress cracking performance and welding joint strength and other key technical indicators. The standard particularly strengthens the durability requirements of geomembrane in harsh environments such as landfills and water conservancy projects, providing a basis for the selection and quality control of engineering anti-seepage materials.
