GB/T 6730.90-2025 "Determination of Iron Ore, Gold, Silver, Platinum, Palladium Content Inductance Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry" is an important detection standard in the field of iron ore analysis in our country. The standard establishes a method for the simultaneous determination of four precious metal elements in iron ore by ICP-MS technology, which improves the technical blank in our country in this field. The standard specifies in detail the key technical links such as sample pretreatment (including acid digestion and melting analysis), instrument parameter optimization, Internal standafard method correction, etc. The determination range covers trace to trace levels of precious metal content. The standard is centralized by the National Iron Ore and Direct Reduced Iron Standardization Technical Committee and will be implemented on November 1, 2025. It is of great significance to improve the comprehensive utilization level of mineral resources in our country and has the voice over international trade.
