This standard replaces the GB/T 8300-2016 version and standardizes the titration method of alkalinity in condensed natural latex, which is suitable for natural latex products with ammonia as a stabilizer. The new standard is higher on the priority list of optimization of reagent preparation requirements (such as the addition of sodium carbonate solution and methyl orange regulations), muriatic acid standard solution calibration procedures and other technical details, and adjusts the precision expression form. As a key standard for natural rubber quality control, its implementation date is November 1, 2025, and it is managed by the Natural Rubber Sub-Technical Committee of the National Rubber and Rubber Standardization Technical Committee.
