GB 9744-2024 "Truck Tires" is a newly revised mandatory national standard in our country. It was officially implemented on May 1, 2025, replacing the 2015 version of the standard. The main updates of the standard include: improving tire durability and high-speed performance requirements, adding rolling resistance and wet road grip performance indicators, and strengthening environmental protection characteristics such as the use of recyclable materials and noise control. The implementation of the standard is divided into two stages: the basic provisions will be implemented from May 2025, and the rolling resistance and wet road performance requirements will be fully implemented from May 2026. As the basis for 3C certification, the standard will promote the technological upgrading of the industry, improve driving safety and energy saving and emission reduction effects.
