The ASTM D4587-23 standard is used to accelerate aging through Fluorescent Ultraviolet and Condensation testing to study the effects of Humidity, Heat and Sunlight on Coatings. The method is suitable for evaluating the physical and Optical Property changes of Coatings under simulated real environment conditions. The test simulates the effects of sunlight through UV lamps and accelerates the aging process of Coatings by controlling Humidity and Temperature. The standard provides detailed test conditions and parameters to help predict the performance of Coatings in real use and to systematically evaluate the performance of Coatings.
