The GB/T 451.1-2002 standard specifies the measurement method for the size and skewness of paper and Cardboard. For flat paper, a steel tape measure is used to measure the length and width, and the result is expressed as the average of three measurements. Precision is ensured by using a steel tape measure and a vernier calliper for the width measurement of web and disc paper, respectively. The skewness measurement involves the edge deviation of the flat paper, and the deviation value of the paper is measured by the folding method. The standard applies to all kinds of flat, reel and reel paper, not to wrinkled paper.
