The GB/T 455-2002 standard specifies the method for determining the tearing degree of paper and Cardboard. This standard applies to Cardboard with tearing degree within the instrument Measurement range, but not to corrugated fibreboard and highly oriented paper. The tearing performance of the material is evaluated by measuring the force required to tear the paper under the specified pre-cut. This provides an important reference for the performance and quality control of the paper.
