The SN/T 4895-2017 standard specifies a method for the determination of mineral oil content in food simulants (e.g. water, 3% acetic acid, 10% ethanol and isooctane) of paper and Cardboard in food contact materials using Gas chromatography, CG. This standard is applicable to ensure the safety of paper and Cardboard materials in contact with food and prevent the migration of mineral oil into food, thereby protecting consumer health.
