This specification defines the requirements for reinforced (Type I) and ordinary (Type II) paper tapes for fixing and binding paper products and sealing fiberboard boxes. Type I tapes can be divided into disbonding (Class 1) and non-disbonding (Class 2), while Type II tapes are divided into Class A (light load), Class B (medium load) and Class C (heavy load), and none of them can be disbonded. The tape must be made of kraft paper, and recycled pulp is recommended. The gluing agent used should be odor-free and environmentally friendly. Type I tape consists of two rolls of paper strips, and Type II is one roll of paper strips. The standard specifies the inspection of the appearance, structure and dimensional defects of the tape, as well as the test requirements for gluing, tensile strength and elongation.
