This standard test method is designed to evaluate the ability of transportation Encasement to resist concentrated impact during various transportation and handling processes. It is mainly used in common forms of Encasement such as thin grooves or light corrugated boxes, tensile Encasement, etc. The test method evaluates the protection effect of Encasement on internal contents by simulating the concentrated impact that the goods may encounter during transportation (such as cargo extrusion, accidental collision, etc.), and checks the gap or support between the wall of the Encasement and the contents. The test results help to determine the energy dissipation capacity of the Encasement, and judge the impact resistance performance of the Encasement according to the preset acceptance criteria. In addition, this standard does not cover all safety issues, and users need to establish appropriate safety measures by themselves.
