JJG (Light Industry) 114-2000 "Cigarette paper smoldering performance tester" specification specifies the verification requirements and methods of cigarette paper smoldering performance tester. It is suitable for the initial verification, subsequent verification and inspection during use of the equipment. The instrument is used to measure the distance of cigarette paper from the ignition point to the automatic smoldering extinguishing point to evaluate its smoldering performance. The standard refers to Appendix D of GB/T 12655-1998 "Cigarette Paper" and adopts JJF 1001-1998 "General Measurement Terms and Definitions" and JJF 1002-1998 "National Measurement verification rules". The main technical requirements include the indication Precision of the instrument, the ignition time error and its operating performance. The verification items cover Appearance inspection, operating performance, ignition time error and error of indication. Qualified instruments will be issued a verification certificate, and those who fail will be issued a verification result notice. The verification period is generally one year.
