The FZ/T 50013-2008 standard defines a method for measuring the whiteness of cellulosic chemical fibers using the blue light diffuse reflection factor method. This method is suitable for cellulosic chemical fibers and Miscellaneous similar fibers. The test measures the diffuse reflection factor of the sample under specified geometric conditions by blue light (wavelength 457 nm) to evaluate its whiteness. The standard specifies in detail the instrument requirements, Sample Handling, test steps and method of calculating the results. The instrument should comply with D65 Light source and blue light Measurement conditions, and the sample thickness should be ensured during the test. The results are expressed in diffuse reflection factor. The test report should include sample information, instrument model, test results and any abnormal phenomena.
