GB/T 6546-2019 "Determination of the edge pressure strength of corrugated fibreboard" specifies the method for determining the edge pressure strength of corrugated fibreboard, that is, the edge not waxing method. The standard is applicable to all kinds of corrugated fibreboard, mainly by placing the sample in a fixed platen type electronic compression tester for testing. The corrugated direction of the sample is perpendicular to the platen, and pressure is applied until the sample is crushed. The instrument requires that the upper and lower platens are flat and parallel, and can move at a constant speed. The sample should be prepared under the specified atmospheric conditions, and the trimming is guaranteed to be neat and straight. The test results calculate the edge pressure strength at the maximum pressure bearing force, and require a detailed test report, including test conditions, sample information, and edge pressure strength values.
