This standard specifies the classification, technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules for membrane-grade polyester chips (PET). It is applicable to polyester chips produced from terephthalic acid and ethylene glycol as the main raw materials, covering the requirements of membrane-grade binders and additive chips. The standard does not apply to polyester chips for sheets, and provides detailed marking, Encasement, transportation and storage requirements to ensure product mass and performance.
