This standard specifies the test method for wear resistance performance of whole shoes and sole materials. The test is carried out on the sole by swirl/spin grinding wheel abrasion, measurement of wear mark length to evaluate its abrasion resistance. The standard applies to whole shoes and sole materials, but does not apply to natural leather outsoles and raw rubber soles. The standard describes in detail the test equipment, operating requirements and evaluation methods to ensure the wear resistance performance of footwear products in actual use.
