Part 3 of this standard defines the mass inspection specification for printing products of books and periodicals, covering relevant terms, mass requirements, inspection methods and judgment rules. It is applicable to the mass inspection of books and periodicals, and can also be used for the inspection of Miscellaneous paper printing products such as catalogues, brochures, etc. The standard excludes the inspection of primary and secondary school textbooks to ensure that books and periodicals meet industry standards in printing quality.
