This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking and Encasement, transportation and storage of Impact-resistant polystyrene (PS-I) Resin. The standard applies to Impact-resistant Resin composed of polystyrene, styrene copolymer and butadiene rubber, but does not apply to expandable polystyrene Resin. The standard describes in detail the performance testing and related requirements to ensure the performance and safety of Resin.
