This standard specifies the management requirements and types of restricted substances in inks for Encasement materials. It applies to the production, sale and use of Encasement Printing inks, and Miscellaneous non-Encasement materials inks can also be referred to. The standard specifies substances that are not allowed to be used in inks formulations, with the aim of protecting consumer health and the environment and ensuring the safety of Encasement materials.
