GB/T 4893.9-1992 "Method for the Determination of the Impact Resistance of Furniture Surface Film" specifies the test method for evaluating the impact performance of the film on the surface of furniture wooden parts. The standard evaluates the degree of damage of the film by dropping a steel cylindrical Impact block from a specified height along a vertical conduit onto a steel ball on the surface of the test piece. Test equipment includes horizontal base, vertical conduit, Impact block, steel ball, magnifying glass and light source. Impact resistance is determined by grading the damage of the film.
