The AATCC 109-2005 standard is used to evaluate the colour fastness of Spinning & weaving products to ozone in a low Humidity environment. The test is performed at room temperature and relative humidity not exceeding 67% by exposing both the control sample and the test sample to the ozone environment at the same time until a significant color change occurs in the control sample. The test consists of multiple cycles, each testing the color change of the sample and is evaluated by the AATCC Grey Sample Card. The standard indicates the test equipment and operating conditions and emphasizes the requirements for safe handling of ozone.
