The ASTM D5110-2022 standard specifies a calibration method for ozone monitors as well as a certification procedure for ozone levels produced by UV irradiation. Direct calibrating using conventional standard reference materials is not possible due to the non-Stability and reactivity of ozone. This standard describes a method for certification by specifying a dynamic flow of ozone in the air as the primary standard. This method is suitable for calibrating environment monitoring and indoor ozone monitoring equipment and is not suitable for routine calibrating of remote location monitors. The standard ensures accurate determination of ozone concentration and provides relevant safety and operation guidelines.
