This standard specifies the classification, marking, raw materials, performance requirements, test methods and inspection rules for resilience-modified asphalt waterproofing membranes (SBS waterproofing membranes). It is applicable to waterproofing membranes with polyester felt or glass fiber reinforced polyester felt as the base and styrene-butadiene-styrene (SBS) as the Pellicular packing. The standard covers the production, Encasement, storage and transportation requirements of the membrane to ensure its waterproof performance in construction.
